Rama Navami is a Hindu spring festival that celebrates the birthday of Lord Rama, particularly important to the Vaishnava tradition, as the seventh avatar of Vishnu. The festival is a part of the spring Navratri, and falls on the ninth day of the bright half (Shukla Paksha) in the Hindu calendar month of Chaitra.

On this auspicious occasion our school was decorated with torans and flowers a “ Panch Pandiri”(Mandapam) was made. Our Vedicians as Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman were welcomed in a chariot procession driven by white decorated horses.
